Amigurumi Caterpillar made from scraps
Have moved onto some purple socks now. Since one of my daughters has asked me to make her a pair, too, I consider them a success!

Purple sock with Misty Purple toe
Finished the green slipper socks–used less than 1 skein of Vanna Choice yarn in Kelly Green–knitted on size 5 dpns. Have started a pair in purple–only mod will be to do the ribbing with size 4 needles.

Latest WIP is a pair of green slipper socks following the 5sts per inch pattern in Ann Budd’s Getting Started Knitting Socks. Yarn I am using is Vanna’s Choice in Kelly Green.

Inspired by “Crafting with VHS Tapes” from Craftstylish, I made these bookends that feature two of my favorite Howard Keel movies: Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and Kismet. I actually used some old exercise tapes for the vhs tape part and just used the covers from the Keel musicals because I wanted to keep the tapes themselves. If I get tired of those covers, I can always just slip over a new pair. Easy directions and only uses a few commonly found materials–try it for yourself!
